We specialise in providing construction services primarily for the Health and Education sectors. We do a limited amount of specialist residential work.
The development of public facilities, including hospitals, clinics and schools, imposes many specific constraints. We have extensive experience working in a confined site within working hospitals, minimising disruption to busy schools, understanding the importance of timescales and budgets and in particular the need to work outside of normal office or school hours. We have extensive experience working at night and weekends in order to fit in with operating schedules and reduce disruption for our clients.
We do a limited amount of specialised residential work.
Our projects are typically less than one month and for contract amounts of less than $500,000.
Health Institutions
For over 20 years W.A. Mullarkey Builders has been providing construction solutions in Sydney for hospitals within the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
Our clients include the St George Hospital in Kogarah, the Sutherland Hospital in Caringbah, the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick, the Garrawarra Centre in Garrawarra and the Sydney Hospital located in Macquarie Street in Sydney’s CBD.

Since 1975, W.A. Mullarkey Builders has been providing construction solutions in Sydney for both the high-end residential sector and the institutional sector, primarily specialising on health institutions.
W.A. Mullarkey Builders head office is based in Kirrawee, in Sydney’s south east.
We pride ourselves on a personal service, and work closely with our clients to ensure their vision becomes the environment we build. More than 85 per cent of our work is repeat business, proving our ability in fostering excellent working relationships at all levels.
Our clients include St. George Hospital, Sutherland Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Eye Hospital, the Garrawarra Centre, the Department of Health and Ageing, and a number of schools operated by the Catholic Education Office.

Our team are trained in First Aid and every site, no matter how large or small the build, is Site Specific Risk Assessed before any work starts. We strictly comply to NSW Workcover’s Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Standards) Regulations and our extensive range of Safe Work Method Statements are tailor made to each project.
